Flat Plan: Music Magazine
Before I proceeded with my music magazine production on CS4 Photoshop, I planned, roughly how I wanted my Front Cover, Contents Page and Double Page Spread to look, in order to get a idea of how I would go about creating it. Ever since this Flat Plan there have been some minor alterations within my production, including the prop I decided to use for my Front cover which was the Dre Beats headphones, in order to make it appear as if it were a real music magazine as it connotes to the target audience that the magazine is about music, without having to read any of the text.
Final Music Magazine Prodcutions

These
are my final music magazine productions which consists of front
cover, double page spread and a contents page in which i have been
developing over the last few months after my college magazine, using
questionnaire feedback to my target audience which were my media
class and some other friends and family to analyse their preference
as a magazine consumerist. My front cover uses an element of transcendence needs "Escapism"as the mise-en-scene does not represent a verisiimilitude, which then allows the audience to escape from mundane realism, as I have Incorporated a grey highlighted background into my production. However, with my contents page I chose to manipulate the main image for the intention of drawing the attention of the reader by using a black and white effect on the main image. In addition, I also manipulated the texts of "Contents" and my title "Rhythmz", I added a glow effect on the title through the use of CS4 Photoshop.
